The district heating company Nevel AB prevails in the Patent and Market Court

Several municipal companies had accused Nevel AB, a district heating provider, of abusing a dominant position. The Patent and Market Court has now examined the claims and dismissed them in their entirety, clearing Nevel of all allegations.

The Court found, among other things, that it had not been established that Nevel holds a dominant position. Furthermore, the Court held that none of the measures taken by Nevel would have constituted an abuse under competition law, even if a dominant position had been established.
